Emmy nominated Producer and Conceptualist Tony Frere got his start creating blockbuster commercials for the New York ad world in tandem with international art and music projects that expanded popular culture through collaborations with a diverse range of artists including Madonna, David Fincher, Ornette Coleman, Gus Van Sant, Antoine Fuqua, Udo Kier, Kenny Scharf and Mike Mills. Among his feature length projects, Tony produced No Subtitles Necessary, an award winning documentary on legendary cinematographers Laszlo Kovacs and Vilmos Zsigmond featuring Sandra Bullock, Dennis Hopper, Vittorio Storaro and Sharon Stone that premiered in Cannes and was the lead film of the PBS Independent Lens series in 2010. Tony is currently developing and branding two unique venues in Downtown Los Angeles and will be launching a new multi-media artist's collective, Levitation Artists this spring.
